Artur Martirosian wins fourth WSOP bracelet, total prize money exceeds $40 million, creating Russian history

Russian player Artur Martirosian won Event 24 $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em at the 2026 WSOP, capturing his fourth career bracelet, with earnings exceeding $40 million, becoming the all-time money leader in Russian history.
Artur Martirosian won his fourth WSOP gold bracelet by taking down Event #24: $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP). The event drew 242 entries, creating a total prize pool of $5,687,000. In heads-up play, Martirosian defeated his friend from Moldova, Pavel Plesuv, to collect the top prize of $1,286,285.
Plesuv settled for second place and $857,510. Sean Winter finished third for over $584,000; he is still considered one of the best players without a bracelet. The final table also included Yosuke Miki (fourth, $421,718), Marius Gierse, Chance Kornuth, and Aleksejs Ponakovs.
Martirosian's bracelet collection spans multiple formats: he won his first online bracelet in 2023, added a live bracelet the same year, then captured his third in the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship in 2025. This victory is his fourth bracelet and his eighth seven-figure live cash.
With this win, Martirosian's career tournament earnings surpassed $40 million, making him the highest-earning Russian poker player in history. He has also won four Triton Super High Roller series titles.
Speaking after the event about his final opponent, Martirosian said: "I know Pavel well, we have a good relationship, and he is a very strong player." Their heads-up battle lasted about one hour.
This year's WSOP $25,000 high roller events continue to demonstrate the growing depth of competition in high buy-in fields, with elite players like Winter, Kornuth, and Ponakovs regularly reaching the late stages.
