Adrian Nicusor Olarasu

Adrian Nicusor Olarasu was born in Romania and studied at Panait Cerna, where he was a student from 2004 to 2024. He also worked as an engineer at Delphi Auto Parts from September 2014 to January 2017, specializing in engineering and technical roles. His early years were spent in Botosani, Romania.

Olarasu began playing poker in the mid-2010s, gradually transitioning from amateur play to professional tournament poker. By 2023, he was actively participating in major international events, including the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the European Poker Tour.

On July 1, 2025, Olarasu won the Czech Poker Tour (ČPT) Main Event at RS Kladno in Kladno, Czech Republic. The tournament had 259 entries and a prize pool of 1,036,000 Kč. After a heads-up deal, Olarasu secured the trophy and 163,100 Kč (approximately €6,600). The final table featured a diverse field, and Olarasu, the chip leader at the time of the deal, outlasted opponents including "GoldFish" (second place, also 163,100 Kč), Jiří Heidtke (third, 91,300 Kč), and Lukáš Klíma (fourth, 74,900 Kč).

Olarasu is known for his solid fundamental play and adaptability.
