Alberto Attar

In mid-2025, Alberto Attar emerged victorious in the second edition of the Winter Cup, a poker series hosted by City Center Rosario in Argentina. The event attracted 172 players despite being held on a weekday, generating a prize pool of AR $219,300. Attar took home the top prize of AR $54,825, ahead of Luciano Ali Brouchoud (AR $33,552) and Alejandro Belucci (AR $22,149). The tournament featured a buy-in of AR $1,500 in a freezeout format.

During the 2022 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, Attar was one of four Argentine finalists in the Daily DeepStack tournaments at the Casino Paris. On June 16, 2022, he placed 8th in the $400 buy-in Daily DeepStack event (227 entries), earning $1,821. He studied Administration at Universidad de El Salvador (2002–2006). This professional background underscores his ability to balance a poker career with executive responsibilities.
