Alexandre Gomes

Alexandre Gomes was born on July 24, 1982, in Curitiba, Brazil, and is known online as "Allingomes." He was a member of Team PokerStars Pro and is regarded as a pioneer of Brazilian poker.

World Series of Poker (WSOP)

In 2008, Gomes won Event #48: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the WSOP, defeating a field of 2,317 players to take home $770,540, becoming the first Brazilian ever to win a WSOP gold bracelet. This remains his only bracelet.

World Poker Tour (WPT)

On July 20, 2009, Gomes won the Bellagio Cup V, beating 267 opponents to claim the title and $1,187,670, the largest live cash of his career.

• 2009 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA): Entered the final table as chip leader, ultimately finishing 4th for $750,000. On the final hand he held A♣A♥ and flopped a full house, but was eliminated by Benny Spindler’s four Jacks.
• 2011 EPT Grand Final: 7th place in the Main Event for $274,583.
• 2018 Iguazu Super High Roller: Runner-up in the $5,000 buy-in event for $150,000.

As of 2024, his total live tournament earnings exceed $3,737,966, placing him among the top Brazilian players on the all-time money list.

Gomes is known for an aggressive and creative style, using position to make frequent raises and put pressure on opponents. He possesses excellent hand-reading skills and is able to flexibly adjust his strategy in the later stages of tournaments, blending mathematical calculations with psychological play.
