Ana Marquez

Ana Marquez began making waves on the live poker circuit in 2011 when she narrowly missed the final table of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) main event, finishing 10th for $155,000. This result put her on the map as a rising Spanish talent. Two years later, she captured her first major title by winning the Hollywood Poker Open Championship Event for over $320,000. Marquez continued to build her resume with cashes at European Poker Tour (EPT) stops, including a 79th-place finish in the 2014 EPT Grand Final €10,600 Main Event for €19,200, and a 26th-place in the 2017 WSOP Marathon event ($21,434).

The 2018 World Series of Poker saw Marquez reach her first WSOP final table: 6th place in Event #28: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed for $67,116. She also cashed in the 888poker LIVE London Main Event for £5,200. The highlight of her career came in June 2019 at the partypoker MILLIONS Vegas $10,300 Main Event, where she finished third for a career-best $445,000. Later that summer, she came extremely close to another WSOP final table, placing 10th in the $1,500 Millionaire Maker for $95,720. She also cashed in the Ladies Championship ($3,940) and the $25,000 PokerStars Players Championship ($45,700) at the 2019 PCA.

Marquez has remained a consistent presence at high-stakes tournaments around the world. In 2021, she cashed in the EPT Prague €5,300 Main Event (109th, €11,140). The following year, she reached the final two tables of the EPT Monte Carlo €5,300 Main Event, finishing 26th for €26,230, and also cashed in the EPT Barcelona €10,300 High Roller (73rd, €17,020). In 2023, she placed 36th in a $3,000 6-Handed event at the WSOP for $13,194. At the 2024 WSOP Paradise, she finished 41st in the $25,000 Super Main Event for $140,900. Most recently, in early 2025, she took 7th place in the EPT Malta €1,650 PokerStars Open for €65,950. As of mid-2025, her total live earnings exceed $2.38 million, ranking her 15th on the Spain all-time money list.

Beyond live tournaments, Marquez has also participated in online events, particularly during the 2020 WSOP Online on GGPoker. She cashed in four bracelet events that year, including a 114th in the $2,500 Double Stack ($5,478) and a 91st in the $840 Bounty ($1,425). Her ability to transition between live and online formats demonstrates her adaptability. Marquez resides in Malaga, Spain, and continues to be an active competitor on the global poker stage.

Marquez continued to collect cashes across multiple WSOP and EPT festivals. At the 2023 WSOP, she placed 1070th in the $1,500 Millionaire Maker ($2,630) and 339th in the $800 Deepstack ($1,883). Later that year at WSOP Europe, she cashed in the €550 Colossus (333rd, €1,115) and the €1,100 Mystery Bounty (57th, €1,655). In 2024, she finished 71st in the EPT Monte Carlo €5,300 Main Event for €15,200 and cashed twice at the WSOP: 502nd in the $1,500 Monster Stack ($4,400) and 1241st in the $10,000 Main Event ($17,500). At the 2024 WSOP Paradise, she took 41st in the $5,000 Deepstack for $11,370.

In the 2025 WSOP, Marquez cashed in Event #70: $1,000 Ladies Championship, finishing 118th for $2,101. The following year, she recorded another WSOP cash in Event #79: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em, placing 180th for $6,010. These results, along with her consistent deep runs on the European Poker Tour, underscore her enduring presence at the highest levels of tournament poker.
