Andreas Löf Nilsson

Andreas Löf Nilsson, also known by his nickname "BoomBoomLof," is a Swedish poker enthusiast who balances his passion for the game with an active lifestyle. He enjoys beach volleyball and disc golf during the summer months. He describes himself as a passionate recreational player who is constantly trying to improve.

Andreas first gained attention in the live poker scene at the Paf Poker Challenge (PPC) on Åland, where he reached the final table of the main event and ultimately finished in third place. His performance there also earned him the nickname "BoomBoom" due to his habit of celebrating each pot win with a fist bump and an exclamation of "boom boom!"

In addition to his PPC success, Andreas has won side events at the Paf Poker Challenge in 2016. He has also played in other major live tournaments, including the Poker-SM (Swedish Poker Championship) at Casino Cosmopol in Stockholm. Although he has yet to cash in the Poker-SM, he entered the event in 2017 with hopes of breaking through.

Online, Andreas regularly plays satellite tournaments to qualify for larger live events. He has traveled to Barcelona to play the Estrellas Poker Tour (where he was eliminated early with KK vs AA) and has also played cash games in Las Vegas. He represents the GUTS poker team and has won GUTSian packages, including entries to LiveSM and BoM (likely the Barcelona or Malta event).

Andreas describes himself as a player who pays close attention to opponents' body language and uses "live tells" (both real and fake) to influence decisions. He is comfortable playing short stacks and frequently finds himself in all-in situations during final tables. His nickname "BoomBoomLof" originated at the Paf Poker Challenge: "Lof" is derived from his surname Löf, and "Boomboom" came from his celebratory fist bumps with friends after winning pots.

In 2017, Andreas was active in the Swedish live circuit, including the Christmas Poker Week at Casino Cosmopol. He has been seen in various live updates from the Poker-SM and other events, where his chip counts and eliminations were reported.
