Biao Ding

Biao Ding began his poker career playing online in China before transitioning to live tournaments in the early 2020s. His first major international appearance came at the European Poker Tour in Monte-Carlo, followed by a trip to Cyprus where he won his first Triton High Roller Series title in May 2023. That same month, he finished second in a $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em event in Vietnam for $1,135,000. Ding made his World Series of Poker debut in June 2023, final-tabling the $100,000 High Roller and finishing sixth for $469,919.

Ding's breakthrough year was 2024. In March, he won his second Triton title – a $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max event in Jeju – defeating Phil Ivey heads-up to take $1,107,000. That same festival, he recorded the largest cash of his career, finishing runner-up in a $150,000 NLH 8-Handed event for $2,870,000. Later in 2024, he cashed in the WSOP Main Event, finishing 69th for $140,000.

In 2025, Ding continued his dominance. He finished second in the Triton Jeju $100,000 PLO Main Event for $1,610,000, then won his third Triton title – another $50,000 PLO event in Jeju – for $880,000 in September. He also captured the APT Taipei Superstar Challenge in May 2025 for $320,710. At the 2025 WSOP, he placed fourth in the $50,000 PLO High Roller for a significant payday.

Ding has consistently performed at the highest levels of the WSOP. In the 2026 WSOP, he notched multiple deep runs: third place in the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em for $819,504, seventh in the $100,000 High Roller for $401,446, and seventh in the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship for $150,000. He also cashed in the $50,000 High Roller (15th) and the GG Million$ High Roller (78th). Overall, as of mid-2026, Ding has 18 WSOP final tables and over $10.69 million in WSOP earnings alone.

Outside the WSOP, Ding has been a fixture on the Triton Poker Series and other high-roller circuits. In 2026 alone, he cashed in the Triton Montenegro festival (8th in $50k PLO Mystery Bounty, 14th in $200k Invitational, 5th in $25k Golden Decade) and the Onyx High Roller Series (7th in $100k High Roller Championship for $230,000). His total live earnings have surpassed $22 million, ranking second on the China all-time money list and inside the top 100 globally.

Ding is known for a patient, balanced style that excels in deep-stacked, high-pressure situations.
