Bradley Ruben

Bradley Ruben, hailing from Hernando, Florida, began his live poker tournament career in 2008. His first significant cash came in the 2013 WSOP Main Event, where he finished deep for $24,480. Over the next several years, Ruben steadily built his resume with cashes primarily in Pot-Limit Omaha and mixed-game events. At the 2017 WSOP, he came close to bracelet wins, finishing ninth in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event and third in the $1,500 Razz, the latter earning him a career-best $55,958 at the time.

Ruben’s first WSOP bracelet arrived in 2020 during the online series on GGPoker, winning Event #62: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha under the screen name "DrStrange7" for $220,160. He defeated a field of 990 entries, outlasting notables like Sami Kelopuro and Patrick Serda. In 2021, Ruben captured two bracelets: an online $600 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event ($69,148) and the live $1,500 Razz ($99,188). The following year, he won his fourth bracelet in the $1,500 Dealers Choice event for $126,288. At the 2025 WSOP, Ruben claimed his fifth bracelet in as many years by taking down the $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Lowball event for $138,080.

Beyond his bracelets, Ruben has numerous other high-profile finishes. In 2023, he reached four WSOP final tables, including a third-place finish in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship worth $187,406. Later that year, he won the WSOP Circuit Main Event in Dallas ($1,700 NLHE) for $250,140, adding a WSOP Circuit ring to his accolades. At the 2025 WSOP, he again placed third in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, earning $206,747. Ruben also cashed 15 times at the 2024 WSOP, making him a popular fantasy draft pick. Ruben has proven equally adept online, particularly on GGPoker. His first bracelet win in 2020 came online, and he added a second online bracelet in 2021. At the 2026 WSOP, he added several cashes, including a fifth-place finish in the $1,500 Mixed event ($65,801) and a ninth-place in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship ($28,179). His GPI ranking stands at 670, and he is recognized as one of the top mixed-game specialists of his generation.
