Carlos Estivill hails from Patagonia, Argentina, and currently lives in England. He began his professional poker journey in 2020 when he moved to London to focus on cash games. His early tournament results include an 88th-place finish in the Circuito Argentino de Poker in 2021, which stood as his best cash until his recent breakthrough.

In September 2024, Estivill entered the CNP888 Alicante Main Event at Casino Mediterráneo de Alicante almost by chance, having originally come on vacation. The €550 buy-in tournament drew a record 577 entries. Estivill navigated through a tough final table that included well-known Spanish players Javier Castillo and Abraham Serrano. In a brief heads-up lasting just 30 minutes, Estivill's J♦10♣ outkicked Serrano's J♠7♦ on a J♥4♣4♥ flop, with a decisive 10♦ on the turn sealing the victory. He earned €45,000 and the winner's trefoil trophy.

Earlier in the same season, Estivill had won a "Win the Button" tournament on the CNP circuit, which helped propel him into contention for the circuit's overall standings. This victory motivated him to extend his stay in Spain and compete in more events.

Estivill is described as spontaneous and charismatic. He often wears a scarf that has become his trademark, which he calls "La Charlina" (a nickname derived from "Charlie", as he is known in London). He considers it a full superstition and always brings it to tournaments.

Estivill has expressed a clear goal of finishing in the TOP5 of the CNP circuit, as the overall winner receives a sponsorship package for 2025. He is keen to travel more to Spain for poker, citing friends and family there. He also hinted at possibly traveling to Prague to close out the year strong.
