Dominique Palan

Dominique Palan was born in 1991 in Brześć Kujawski, Poland. He developed an interest in poker through family and friends, and began playing regularly during high school. He excelled in mathematics, competing in national-level competitions. After earning a Bachelor's degree from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, he left his studies to pursue professional poker full-time.

In 2014, Palan won a $700 satellite on PokerStars to enter the $10,300 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Main Event. He reached the final table of over 1,000 entries, outlasting notable players like Isaac Baron and Mike McDonald. Three-handed, a deal was made that guaranteed Palan the largest payout of $1.3 million, and he later won the remaining $100,000 and the trophy after 16 hours of play. This victory remains his most significant achievement and earned him a spot in poker history.

• EPT Prague 2025: Won the €3,250 Mystery Bounty event for $368,060.

As of 2026, Palan has recorded 108 live and online cashes totaling $4,301,629, including $2.1 million from the European Poker Tour and $375,601 from the World Series of Poker.

Dominique Palan ranks 3rd on the Polish All-Time Money List. His PCA victory is considered one of the most storied in EPT history, and he continues to compete at the highest levels, recently cashing in the 2026 EPT Paris Mystery Bounty.
