Espen Willads Torgergen

Espen Uhlen Jørstad was born in May 1988 in Levanger Municipality, Norway. He earned a master's degree in brewing science from the University of Copenhagen and worked at a brewery before transitioning to professional poker.

Jørstad began streaming on Twitch in 2016 under the alias "uhlenpoker" as a sponsored Unibet Poker pro, later rebranding to the group channel "overbetexpress". Playing as "Hymn2ninkasi" on PokerStars and "COVFEFE-19" on online poker, he focused primarily on cash games. He achieved early WSOP online success, finishing fifth in a $400 Fifty Stack event during the 2020 WSOP Online and sixth in the 2021 WSOP Online Main Event for $603,058.

Jørstad's first live WSOP cash came in 2022 in Event #5: The Housewarming. He then partnered with Patrick Leonard to win Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em, earning $74,042 and his first WSOP bracelet.

In the same year, Jørstad won his $10,000 Main Event seat via a $1,050 satellite on online poker. He navigated a field of 8,663 entries—the second-largest in WSOP history—and defeated Adrian Attenborough heads-up. On the 19th hand, Jørstad shoved with Q♦ 2♠ on a board of 4♥ 2♥ 2♣ 8♠ Q♣, making a full house to win the $10,000,000 first prize. He became the first Norwegian to win the WSOP Main Event and the first Main Event champion from Norway.

Beyond his Main Event victory, Jørstad has cashed in numerous high-stakes events. In 2026, he placed 8th in the Triton Poker Series Montenegro $75k PLO 6-Handed ($191,500) and 16th in the $50k NLH 7-Handed ($88,000). He also cashed in the 2026 EPT Monte-Carlo €25,000 High Roller (29th, €41,300) and the 2025 WSOP Paradise $100,000 Triton Main Event (31st, $185,000).

Jørstad is primarily a cash game player who occasionally enters tournaments. He is described as technically sound, with a deep understanding of game theory and mathematical principles. He is a GTO Wizard Ambassador and often streams his play on Twitch. His analytical, balanced approach has earned him respect among peers as a "tech-savvy" and "versatile" player.

As of June 2025, Jørstad's total live tournament earnings exceed $18,122,559 (with some sources reporting $19.8 million), placing him first on Norway's all-time money list. He has two WSOP bracelets, four WSOP final tables, and 23 WSOP money finishes. Jørstad resides in London, England, and continues to compete at the highest levels of the game.
