Guilherme Sazan Dos Santos

Guilherme Sazan Dos Santos hails from Santa Catarina, Brazil, and primarily plays poker online. In 2019, he won the Circuito Catarinense de Poker, a regional live event. He discovered the WSOP Circuit Brazil festival through a friend who had won a satellite entry, and decided to travel to Rio de Janeiro to participate.

In March 2024, Guilherme Sazan entered the WSOP Circuit Brazil Main Event at the Windsor Marapendi in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament had a buy-in of R$4,000 and attracted 656 entries, generating a prize pool of R$2.5 million. Sazan began the final table as the second-largest stack and ultimately defeated Leandro Rêgo in heads-up play to claim the title and a first-place prize of R$460,000. The final hand occurred on a board of A-K-Q-7-7; Sazan called Rêgo's all-in on the flop and held to win. The victory also earned him a seat in the WSOP Tournament of Champions with $1 million guaranteed.

Sazan has a long history of online tournament play, with cashes in WSOP online events dating back to 2011. Across 13 WSOP cashes, he has earned a total of $53,000. His best WSOP result came in August 2020 when he finished 8th in the WSOP Online #76: $400 FORTY STACK No Limit Hold'em for $21,141. That same summer, he also cashed in the $5,000 Main Event for $20,124 and in the $525 Bounty event. More recently, he has recorded cashes in online poker's GGMasters series, including a 171st-place finish in a $150, $1M GTD event in September 2025 for $785.
