Hui Chen Kuo

Hui Chen Kuo was born on August 31, 1983, in Taipei, Taiwan. She grew up in a traditional Taiwanese household and showed an early aptitude for mathematics and logic. Kuo initially studied electrical engineering before attending the University of Southern California, where she was introduced to competitive gaming, including blackjack and poker. Her analytical mindset and competitive nature led her to pursue poker seriously after graduation.

Kitty Kuo launched her live poker career in 2007 with a notable cash at the APPT Macau. She quickly established herself by winning the 2009 PokerStars Macau Poker Cup Main Event (worth approximately US$71,900). Over the following decade, Kuo accumulated over US$3.58 million in live tournament earnings, making deep runs in major series such as the WSOP, WPT, EPT, and Aussie Millions.

Kitty Kuo was previously married to poker professional Russell Thomas; the couple divorced in 2022. She is currently in a relationship with poker player Frankie Cucchiara, with whom she has a child. Kuo resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is known by the nickname "Kitty."
