Hwiwon Seo

Hwiwon Seo is a professional poker player from South Korea who has made a name for himself on the global tournament circuit. With a string of impressive results in World Series of Poker (WSOP) events and other major series, Seo has established himself as a formidable competitor in both live and high-stakes settings.

Seo's most notable achievement to date came at the 2024 WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas. In Event #13: $50,000 NLH High Roller, he finished as the runner-up out of a field of 130 entries, earning a career-best $996,200. Outside of the WSOP, Seo has competed in the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT). At the 2024 APPT stop in Okada Manila, he placed 128th in the ₱69,840+10,160 Main Event (Event #49) out of 693 runners, earning ₱153,000.
