Jake Cody

Jake Cody was born on 4 July 1988 in Rochdale, England. He began his poker journey online with a mere $10 deposit and never made another deposit since. While studying psychology at university, he decided to leave his studies to pursue poker professionally—a decision his parents initially opposed. His first live tournament cash came in April 2009 at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour's £200 No-Limit Hold'em event in Manchester, where he placed sixth for £1,740. He also had a money finish in the inaugural UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) event in Galway in December 2009.
