Jesper Kongerod Fehn

Jesper Kongerød Fehn was born in Skien, Norway. He studied at the University of Agder (UiA) in Kristiansand, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics (2019–2022) and a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing (2022–2024), qualifying as a siviløkonom. During his studies, he worked as a salesperson at XXL Sport & Villmark (2018–2022) and held internships and positions at PwC Norway, AIDER, and Deloitte. As of December 2025, he works as an Associate at Cedra Norge in Skien.

Fehn's first major breakthrough came in April 2025 at the Norwegian Poker Championships (poker-NM) in Bratislava. He won the Turbo Event, defeating the president of the Norwegian Poker Federation heads-up, and took home a first prize of €31,387 (approximately 375,000 NOK). The victory earned him the nickname "Norges-Jesper" among friends.

Just five months later, in September 2025, Fehn won the U25 (under-25) event at the Norwegian Poker Championships held at Gardermoen. The tournament attracted 361 players (with a buy-in of 1,500 NOK), and Fehn clinched the title after a deep run, winning 87,500 NOK. This made him a two-time Norwegian champion within a single year, leading his friends to call him "Dobbelt Norges-Jesper."

Fehn described the achievement as "ganske usannsynlig" (quite unlikely) and expressed his joy at the back-to-back successes. After the U25 win, he celebrated with friends in Oslo and noted that the early victory allowed him to relax for the rest of the NM series.

While detailed analysis of Fehn's playing style is limited, his results suggest a patient and adaptable approach. After his U25 win, he emphasized the importance of keeping a cool head and not becoming overconfident: "Det gjelder å ikke bli overivrig... Holde hodet kaldt og ha fokus på arbeidsoppgaver" (It's important not to get too eager... Keep a cool head and focus on the task). In the Turbo Event, he demonstrated the ability to beat a seasoned opponent heads-up, indicating strong heads-up skills and mental fortitude.

Fehn balances his poker career with a professional career in accounting and consulting. He has worked at Deloitte (as a student assistant and later Associate) and currently holds an Associate position at Cedra Norge. He is also a former student of the University of Agder, where he lived in Kristiansand for five years before moving back to Skien in 2024.
