Jose Maria Felices Domingo, also known as "Chema" to his friends, hails from Zaragoza, Spain. Before poker, he worked as a taxi driver. His introduction to Texas Hold'em came when a friend told him about the new game sweeping Catalan casinos. He visited Casino Tarragona, entered a tournament, and won it—a stroke of luck he readily admits. From then on, he balanced his taxi job with a growing passion for poker, reading everything he could and playing live whenever possible.

• 2009: Won the third stage of the Campeonato de España de Póker (CEP) held at Gran Casino Extremadura in Badajoz. He defeated 99 players over 20+ hours, earning €19,958 for first place.
• 2011: Finished 2nd in the Paradise Poker Tour 2 - Barcelona Main Event (€500+50 buy-in), taking home €27,000 ($39,037). The event drew 311 entries.
• 2012: Took down the CNP770 Alicante (€500+50 buy-in), a stage of the Campeonato Nacional de Poker 770, beating 306 players and winning €19,770.
• Monte Picayo VPKO: Won the VPKO Bimestral de mayo at Casino Monte Picayo, collecting €12,300. Over the preceding two months, he had racked up more than €60,000 in prizes.

Felices describes himself as a loose-aggressive player, especially in the later stages of tournaments. He prefers live casino games over online poker (where he occasionally plays under the nickname "Chemator"). In his CEP victory, he emphasized constant pressure with raises and re-raises, targeting dangerous opponents like Javier Martínez and Noel Prat. Felices' girlfriend, Silvia Gil, is also a poker player, and he jokes that he was motivated to win after she had already captured a couple of tournaments in 2009.
