Born in 1988 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joseph Serock grew up during the poker boom inspired by the 2003 World Series of Poker coverage. He began playing poker in freerolls and low-stakes online games, building a bankroll under the screen names "floes" on PokerStars and "planetearf" on Full Tilt Poker. Originally from Albuquerque, he later moved to San Diego, California, where he continues to reside and compete on the live tournament circuit.
