Lennart Andersson won his first Swedish Mörkpoker Championship in 1997, establishing himself as a force in the Swedish poker scene. This early success laid the foundation for a long and consistent career.

At the 2024 Mörkpoker-SM, Lennart Andersson defeated Ola Brandborn heads-up with two pair (sixes and aces) to become champion once again, earning €4,322. The victory was described as a "solskenshistoria" (fairy tale) because it came 27 years after his first title. After the tournament, he emphasized the importance of building an image in mörkpoker and reading opponents.

In February 2026, Lennart Andersson travelled to Estonia for the Kings of Tallinn festival. He won the inaugural €555 NLH Seniors event, defeating Gary Fisher heads-up to claim the €9,480 top prize. This win added an international trophy to his resume.

At the 2024 Poker-SM Live Main Event in Bratislava, Andersson enjoyed a deep run. On Day 1A, he doubled the average stack after winning the mörkpoker event the previous day. He eventually finished 10th, eliminated in a bad beat when his pocket aces were cracked by Mikael "Greenbay" Grönvik's A5 suited on a spade river. Despite the tough exit, he was celebrated as "Legend-Lennart" for his fantastic performance overall.

Andersson's playing style is rooted in his mörkpoker background, which relies heavily on reading opponents and building a consistent image. In Texas Hold'em, he employs a disciplined, tight-aggressive (TAG) approach. He is known for his calm demeanor and strategic decision-making, often described as part of the "Nordic school" of poker.
