Early Career and First Major Cash (2011)

Nikola Kolega first made his mark on the live tournament scene in 2011. In August of that year, he finished first in the €1,000+100 No Limit Hold'em Main Event of the Croatian Poker Series – 2nd Edition in Split, taking home €13,352 – the largest single live cash of his career. Later that year, in December, he cashed for €750 in the €360+40 Main Event of the Italian Poker Tour (IPT) in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.

Expanding Success Across Europe (2013–2019)

Kolega continued to build his résumé with several deep runs in European tournaments. In May 2013, he cashed twice at the Eureka Poker Tour in Dubrovnik: €2,240 for 17th place in the €1,000+100 Main Event and €468 in a €150+15 Deepstack Turbo. He returned to the winner's circle in December 2017, taking €1,815 in the €220+30 Main Event of the Diamond Anniversary 100k€ GTD in Zagreb.
