Nuno Correia

Nuno Correia first emerged on the Portuguese poker scene in 2013, when he led the final 28 players in the Main Event of the Circuito PokerStars Solverde (CPS) Estoril. This early deep run signaled his potential as a rising talent.

In March 2023, Correia posted a strong result in the Marrakech Poker Open, finishing 4th in the main event alongside fellow Portuguese player Rui Bouquet (8th). Two years later, in May 2025, he made his Asia Pacific Poker Tour debut at APPT Cambodia, cashing in the APPT Main Event Super Qualifier by placing 8th out of 111 entries for $1,800. That event had a buy-in of $290.

Beyond live tournaments, Correia has built a reputation as an online cash game specialist. In a 2018 poker journal, he described himself as a 24-year-old professional poker player and Run It Once essential pro, focusing on heads-up no-limit hold'em (HUNL). He was a regular at 500ZHU (zoom) on PokerStars, having moved up from 200ZHU in 2017. His goal was to progress from the 500NL pool to 5,000NL, reflecting his ambition in high-stakes online poker.

Nuno Correia is recognized as one of Portugal's leading poker talents, with achievements in both live and online formats. His calm demeanor and analytical approach have contributed to his success, and he continues to represent the growing Portuguese poker community on the international stage.
