Quang Huy Nguyen

Nguyen Quang Huy began his poker journey in 2017, initially competing in local Vietnamese events. His first significant victory came in October 2019 when he placed 1st in the VN₫ 1,000,000 No-Limit Hold'em KO Bounty at APL Vietnam.

2023 proved to be a transformative year for Nguyen. He swept multiple titles across Asia, including wins at USOP Hanoi, Poker Dream 7, and WPT Vietnam Passport to the World Championship. At the inaugural Asian Poker Festival (APF) Hanoi, he recorded the most cashes (5) and became the first Main Event champion, earning VN₫ 2,680,000,000 (~USD 110,400). This performance solidified his reputation as a dominant force in the region.

Nguyen continues to perform at high-stakes events. In 2025, he cashed in the Grand Loyal Poker Championship Warm-Up (8th out of 177 entries) and the Poker Cup II Main Event. His largest recorded live cash is $99,477. On Hendon Mob, his total live earnings stand at $1,673,723, with a Global Poker Index ranking of 767th.

Described as an "intimidating player" who "sweeps tournament titles like wildfire," Nguyen is known for his aggressive yet calculated approach.
