Rafal Lubczynski

Rafal Lubczynski was born on May 12, 1988, in Łódź, Poland. He is a highly accomplished chess player, holding the title of International Master since 2007. His chess career includes a victory in the Cracovia 2004/05 festival, a shared first place in the WSB Masters in Wrocław in 2006, and appearances in the Polish Chess Championship finals in 2007 and 2008. His peak FIDE rating of 2435 was achieved in October 2015.

Lubczynski transitioned into professional poker, where he has become a familiar face on the live tournament circuit. He is known for his aggressive play and deep runs in major events, particularly in Europe.
