Robert Williamson III

Robert Williamson III was born on November 7, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Granbury with three sisters. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with double majors in Finance and Real Estate from Angelo State University.

Williamson is a top expert in Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), earning the nickname "Mr. Omaha" for his dominance in the game. He has 20 WSOP cash records with total earnings exceeding $1.1 million.

WSOP Gold Bracelet

In 2002, Williamson won the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the WSOP, earning $201,160 and capturing his only WSOP gold bracelet.

Williamson married at age 35, walking down the aisle with his wife Kate just two months after meeting her, which he considers his greatest achievement.

Williamson is known for his aggressive and attacking playing style, especially skilled at applying pressure with position and draws in Pot-Limit Omaha. He once had a verbal confrontation with Phil Hellmuth during the WSOP Main Event, showing a personality unwilling to be intimidated by big names. He is known for his outspoken and uncompromising table demeanor, considered one of the "bad boys" of poker.
