Sami Säämänen

Sami Säämänen (born September 1, 1988) is a Finnish entrepreneur and professional poker player. He is the founder of Denssi Pouches, Nicopack, and the SMOS Group, making him a prominent figure in the nicotine pouch industry. In poker, he has achieved a notable result at the WSOP Circuit Tallinn in 2025.

Born in Finland, Säämänen has built a diversified career across continents. Since October 2021, he has been a resident of the United Arab Emirates. He is also registered as a board member and founder of multiple companies in Estonia, where he has business interests.

Säämänen began his entrepreneurial journey in 2011 when he founded the SMOS Group, a global holding company. In 2018, he launched Nicopack, a contract manufacturing facility for nicotine, energy, and functional pouches, with production capacity exceeding 300 million cans per month across facilities in the US and Europe. In 2020, he established Denssi Pouches, a brand now distributed in over 30 countries. Denssi has sponsored MotoGP and NASCAR, and raised €90,000 for children with disabilities through a charity golf event.

Säämänen's poker accomplishments include a 4th-place finish in a WSOP Circuit Tallinn event in 2025. During the tournament, he was eliminated on a hand where his opponent made a flush, earning him €8,900. He continues to participate in live poker events, particularly in Europe.

Säämänen is based in Dallas, Texas, while maintaining business operations in Europe and the Middle East. He is actively involved in multiple companies across various sectors, including cosmetics, wholesale, and real estate.
