Sid Wyman

Sid Wyman (1908–1978) was one of the most influential poker players in the United States during the mid-20th century. Large in stature, he earned the nickname "The Big Man" and was known for his dominant style in high-stakes cash games across Las Vegas. Wyman was not only a top player but also involved in the operation of several casinos, making him a key figure in the early poker industry.

Wyman's poker career spanned from the 1940s to the 1970s. He made multiple final tables in early WSOP events and won two WSOP gold bracelets.
