Thomas Wagermaier first gained attention in 2011 when he topped the Casinos Austria ranking, which included 532 tournaments across various Austrian casinos. He cashed in 33 events, won ten tournaments, and accumulated €17,535 in prize money. As the ranking winner, he received a €2,000 tournament voucher.
