Tim Heath was born in Warracknabeal, Australia, and later attended Scotch College and the University of Melbourne, where he earned a Bachelor of Information Systems & Commerce (1997–2002). After graduating, he moved to Estonia, where he has lived for over two decades. He is an avid cricket fan and supporter of the Geelong Cats.

In July 2024, Heath was the target of a kidnapping plot in Tallinn, Estonia, where foreign nationals broke into his apartment, assaulted him, and attempted to force him into a car. He managed to fight them off. The incident was reported by Eesti Ekspress. Shortly before the attack, he married his girlfriend at a mountaintop fortress on the Croatian island of Hvar. He has kept a relatively low profile despite his wealth.
