Toby Lewis

Toby Lewis was born in Southampton, England, and began his poker career online. Playing under the screen name "810ofclubs" on PokerStars, he quickly rose through the ranks of high-stakes games. At one point, Lewis was ranked as high as second in the world for online tournament results in 2011, with his online earnings reaching several million dollars. His early live tournament experience came in 2009, primarily on the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT). His fifth recorded cash was a runner-up finish in the GUKPT Walsall Main Event, earning £12,700. He also made a runner-up finish at PKR Live III in 2009.

Lewis first made a major splash on the European Poker Tour (EPT) in August 2010, when he won the EPT Vilamoura Main Event in Portugal. The tournament attracted a record-breaking 384 players for a Portuguese event, and Lewis defeated a final table that included fellow UK pro Sam Trickett and former Manchester United footballer Teddy Sheringham. In the 2024 and 2025 WSOP, Lewis continued to perform at a high level. In the 2025 WSOP, he finished third in Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. for $399,763 and second in Event #93: $3,000 T.O.R.S.E. for $178,427. He also cashed in multiple online WSOP events and the 2025 PokerStars NAPT Las Vegas, finishing 4th in the $1,100 PS Open Main Event ($54,450) and 24th in the $5,300 NAPT Main Event ($19,300). Overall, his live tournament earnings have surpassed $10 million, placing him among the top British players on the all-time money list. As of 2025, he holds a GPI rank of 3,174 and has 32 final tables, 129 cashes, and lifetime live earnings of approximately $9.7 million per The Hendon Mob, while PokerNews reports $10.4 million.
