Tõnis Viik

Tõnis Viik began his poker career as an online tournament specialist, honing his skills at the Müüri Tall poker club in Estonia. By 2018, he had been playing professionally for four years, with his largest online cash reaching approximately €70,000.

Viik's first recorded live cash came in April 2016 at the OlyBet Poker Series, where he finished runner-up for €1,465. In July 2018, he won the Coolbet Summer Festival Main Event in Pärnu, taking home €4,604 plus a package to the Coolbet Open. The tournament had 120 entries and a €15,876 prize pool.

In November 2019, Viik reached the final table of the Coolbet Open II Main Event (€550 buy-in, 686 entries), finishing ninth for €4,490. He was eliminated when his ace-six failed to hold against Johan Karlsson's king-jack.

Viik has two WSOP Circuit cashes, both from the 2025 WSOP Circuit International stop in Olympic Park, Estonia. He placed 40th in Event #3 (€555 No-Limit Hold'em) for $1,500, and 25th in Event #5 (€1,500 Main Event) for $6,250. According to WSOP.com, his lifetime WSOP earnings exceed $77,000.

Viik is primarily known as an online tournament pro, with his biggest single cash around €70,000. He has not yet won a major online title but consistently performs in high-stakes events.

Viik's live game is characterized by patience and timing. In his 2018 victory, he held the chip lead for most of the final table and made a correct river call with ace-high against an opponent's bluff. He is known for adapting to loose final tables while maintaining a solid, fundamental approach.
