Valdo Gamito's breakout victory came in May 2024 when he won the online poker World Festival #154-M: $150 GGMasters Festival Edition. Topping a field of 4,978 entries, he claimed a first-place prize of $73,753, one of the largest scores of his career.

In April 2026, Gamito won the Tuesday Classic [Bounty Edition] on online poker, a $150 buy-in event with $125,000 guaranteed. After 8 hours and 25 minutes of play, he defeated 1,335 entrants to earn $20,081 ($10,158.33 plus $9,923.59 in bounties).

Just two months later, in June 2026, Gamito captured the MicroMillions-153: €100 Sunday Special on PokerStars Portugal. The tournament attracted nearly 1,000 entries, building a €80,550 prize pool. Gamito won €9,158 after a heads-up deal, defeating fellow Portuguese player AmigoTalibán in an all-Portuguese final.

Gamito also performed well in WSOP Online events on online poker. In August 2025, he finished 40th in Event #7: $215 Mystery Millions, a tournament with 4,548 entries and a $10.6 million prize pool. His deep run earned him $21,835, including $14,539 in bounties.
