Victor Paredes was born in El Salvador and later moved to the United States, settling in Modesto, California. He began his poker career playing online before transitioning to live tournaments. Paredes's biggest live cash came in January 2022 when he won the WSOP Circuit Thunder Valley $1,700 Main Event at TVPokerRoom in Lincoln, California.
