按钮位偷盲范围(Button Stealing Range)
在无限注德州扑克中,按钮位玩家利用位置优势,在弃牌至自己时选择加注来抢夺盲注的起手牌范围。
Concept and Function
The Button is the most advantageous position at the table because it acts last after the flop. When all players before have folded, the Button player can raise (i.e., "steal the blinds") to directly win the blinds and antes (if any). The steal range refers to the set of all hand combinations that the Button player uses to raise in this situation.
Composition of the Range
The steal range is typically wider than the standard raising range because the Button has positional advantage and bluff value. Typically, the Button steal range includes about 40%-50% of starting hands, depending on opponents' blind defense tendencies. Broadly includes:
- All pairs (22+)
- All A-high hands (A2s+, A9o+)
- All suited connectors (e.g., 54s+)
- Some unsuited connectors (e.g., JTo, QJo)
- Some suited gappers (e.g., K9s, Q8s)
- Small suited Aces (e.g., A2s-A5s, both for stealing and flopping flushes)
Adjustment Factors
The Button steal range is not fixed and must be dynamically adjusted based on the following factors:
- Blind players' style: If blinds fold frequently (tight-passive), widen to over 50%; if blinds defend aggressively (loose-aggressive), tighten to 30%-35% and avoid marginal hands.
- Stack depth: Deep stacks (>100BB), the steal range can be wider because postflop play is easier; short stacks, focus more on preflop equity.
- Tournament stage: In tournaments, near the money bubble or high blind levels, the steal range widens significantly; under ICM pressure, consider survival risk.
- Opponent tendencies: If blinds 3bet frequently, increase 4bet frequency or narrow the steal range; if blinds call a lot, choose hands with playability.
Important Notes
The core of the steal range is "position" and "initiative." Even with weak hands, the Button's raise forces the blinds to make decisions out of position. However, excessive stealing can be countered by experienced players (e.g., 3bet bluffs). When balancing the steal range, mix in some strong hands (e.g., AA, KK) to protect your bluffs.
Example (Typical Scenario)
Assume a 9-handed table, blinds 50/100, effective stacks 120BB, all fold to the Button. A standard Button steal range might include: 22+, A2s+, A9o+, K9s+, KTo+, Q9s+, QTo+, J9s+, JTo, T8s+, 98s+, 87s+, 76s+, 65s+, 54s+, some A5o, etc. Adjust based on opponent.
