A high card suited "junk suited" hand, mainly relying on the high card to form top pair, with narrow straight possibilities. It has more suited outs than K5o; however, preflop it still risks being dominated by K5o's top pair. Only play from CO/BTN deep stacks or SB stealing blinds; fold from early positions always.

UTG	Fold. K5s in UTG position against a 9-handed table is difficult to realize equity post-flop and is easily dominated. Even with flush potential, the kicker is too weak, not recommended to enter the pot.
MP	If all early positions fold, consider raising to 2.5BB, but be cautious as there are still players behind in MP who may squeeze. Post-flop, when hitting top pair or a flush draw, be wary of kicker issues.
CO	5BB to open. CO is in position with K5s, can steal blinds and utilize post-flop flush potential. If 3-bet, usually fold; if called, bet aggressively post-flop when hitting top pair or flush draw.
BTN	5BB open. BTN is the best position for K5s, can frequently steal blinds. Fold to a 3bet from the blinds; if called, use positional advantage postflop: c-bet on dry boards, cautious on wet boards.
SB	Fold or limp frequency <20%. SB has poor post-flop position; K5s is not suitable for raising, but can occasionally limp to enter the pot, hoping to hit a strong hand post-flop. If raised by the BB, usually fold.
BB	K5s has pot odds advantage on the BB, and can fight back post-flop when hitting a flush draw or top pair. But when facing a raise from UTG/MP, usually fold.

If it misses, usually check-fold. Consider semi-bluffing with backdoor flush draws, but not too frequently.
