ABEMA Launches 24-Hour Free Poker Channel, Exclusively Free Live Broadcast of WSOP 2026 in Japan

Japanese streaming platform "ABEMA" has announced the launch of its first 24-hour free poker channel, "POKER Channel," allowing viewers to enjoy poker content anytime.

At the same time, ABEMA has confirmed it will exclusively and freely stream the world's largest poker tournament, the "World Series of Poker 2026 (WSOP)," in Japan starting Saturday, June 27, 2026. This marks the first time WSOP will be streamed for free on a Japanese platform, giving poker fans zero-barrier access to top-tier competition.

The "POKER Channel" will offer round-the-clock poker programming, including classic event replays, educational content, and entertaining matchups. ABEMA stated that the channel aims to expand poker's influence in Japan and introduce more viewers to the intellectual sport.

As the most prestigious poker championship globally, the WSOP attracts thousands of players each year competing for gold bracelets.
