CoinPoker is preparing its largest standalone tournament to date. The One carries a $5,000,000 guarantee with $1,000,000 guaranteed for first place, and qualification is already underway. The direct buy-in is $250, a figure that stands out against the seven-figure top prize and the overall prize pool.

The operator has confirmed the full Day 1 schedule along with multiple satellite and freeroll routes into the event. CoinPoker intends The One to become an annual flagship tournament rather than a one-off, with the October edition serving as the first in the new series.

Satellites and Freerolls Are Running

For players who find the $250 direct buy-in too steep, or who simply want a cheaper route into one of the largest online poker tournaments in CoinPoker's history, the qualification ladder starts at the very bottom. Freerolls and Step Satellites are free or begin at $0.10. Direct Satellites are available between $1 and $50.

The winner of The One receives the $1,000,000 guaranteed first prize plus a digital trophy added to the CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet.

Qualification feeds into 26 Day 1 flights running from October 4 to 12. Satellite winners and regular entrants therefore have numerous opportunities to build a stack and advance to Day 2.

Direct Satellites From $1

From October 4, CoinPoker offers a full selection of Direct Satellites for The One, awarding seats into upcoming Day 1 flights. Qualification is available through buy-ins of $1, $12.50, $25 and $50, providing several direct routes into the $250 flagship event without needing to climb the entire Step Satellite ladder.

The value at the lowest tier is clear: a successful run in a $1 Satellite can lead to a $250 seat in a tournament with a $5,000,000 guarantee and $1,000,000 for first place. Direct Satellites remain available in the CoinPoker lobby until October 12, the final day of Day 1 action.

CoinPoker also expects to award hundreds of seats daily, with qualification volume increasing as Day 2 and the final starting flights approach.

Step Satellites From $0.10 or Free

The cheapest possible route into The One runs through CoinPoker's Step Satellite system, which operates throughout the qualification period.

The path begins with freerolls and buy-ins from $0.10. From there, players can work step by step toward a $250 Day 1 seat without buying directly into the more expensive satellites. Each successful step moves a player higher and awards either an entry into a higher-priced Step Satellite or into one of the Direct Satellites for The One.

Different steps are available throughout the qualification period, creating repeated chances to climb from a free or $0.10 entry into the $5 million GTD flagship event.

A Completely Free Route to The One

The One can even be reached without spending anything. A dedicated freeroll path feeds directly into CoinPoker's satellite structure.

The fastest free route runs through special Step [2] freerolls that take place daily and award places in a Direct Satellite. In the ideal case, a player can go from a freeroll to The One in just two tournaments, turning a free entry into a seat in the $5,000,000 GTD event.

Longer qualification paths also exist. A freeroll can first lead into a Step Satellite, then into a Direct Satellite, and finally to a Day 1 seat, without any buy-in being required at any point.

CoinPoker is running up to 10 Step [4] freerolls daily from September 29 to October 12, providing numerous chances to earn a ticket before Day 2 begins.

26 Day 1 Flights With Cash Back

After qualification, The One offers numerous opportunities to build a stack for Day 2. From October 4 to 11, CoinPoker runs three Day 1 flights each day at 13:30, 16:30 and 19:30 UTC.

The final qualification day is October 12, with two additional Turbo Day 1s at 12:30 and 14:00 UTC before Day 2 begins later the same day.

That makes 26 Day 1 flights in total. Players may enter as many starting flights as they wish, but only the largest qualifying stack carries over to Day 2.

There is also an important value component: every player who reaches Day 2 receives the buy-in of the successful qualification flight back in cash. Further entries remain possible even after a successful qualification, and players can use later Day 1s to improve their stack.

Additional qualified stacks that do not become the largest stack are converted to cash based on the Day 2 min-cash. Successful qualifiers therefore gain extra value in two ways: a better chance to advance with a larger stack, and cash returns from successful flights that are no longer needed.
