PokerStars often combines popular sports events with Spin & Go promotions, and the World Cup is no exception. This Thursday, on the opening day of the World Cup, PokerStars officially launched the SpinGoal promotion, allowing players to earn extra cash rewards while playing Spin & Go normally.
How to Participate
Like many PokerStars promotions, players first need to opt in through the Challenges Window to receive the SpinGoal puzzle. The puzzle looks like a football field, containing 11 starters, 5 substitutes, 10 squad players, and a coach, all represented by numbered jerseys.
Eligible Tournaments
Players can participate in "eligible" Spin & Go tournaments. These include:
- 3-max Spin & Go Hold'em with buy-in levels of $0.50, $1, $2, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, and $1000.
- Spin & Go Omaha with buy-in levels of $1, $2, $5, $10, and $25.
Number Collection Rules
Before a Spin & Go starts, a number is displayed below the prize wheel. If that number matches a missing lineup spot on your SpinGoal puzzle, that member is collected.
- After collecting all 11 starters, you will receive a cash reward equal to your average SpinGoal buy-in.
- Collecting all 5 substitutes or all 10 squad players also earns the average buy-in reward.
- Collecting the coach earns twice the average buy-in.
- Collecting all 27 positions also earns twice the average buy-in.
Note that winning the tournament itself is irrelevant to collecting numbers — simply playing the tournament is enough.
Number Appearance Probability
Which specific numbers appear depends on the multiplier spun on the Spin & Go prize wheel. For example, if the tournament prize multiplier is 2x, numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 have an equal chance of appearing. Different multipliers (3x, 4x, 5x, and above) correspond to different number groups, with equal probability within each group. As a result, certain numbers will be harder to collect.
Promotion Summary
SpinGoal rewards are entirely luck-based, but if you already play Spin & Go, there's no downside to participating in the promotion, and you have a chance to earn extra prizes.

The SpinGoal promotion will run until July 9.
