Alexandros Vlachakis first appeared in live tournament results in 2014, cashing in a €550 No-Limit Hold'em event at EPT Season XI EUREKA Prague, finishing 5th for $8,303. He continued building his resume with consistent cashes in European Poker Tour (EPT) events.

Vlachakis's best live cash came in July 2015 at the PHamous Poker Series Goliath, where he finished 3rd in a $300 No-Limit Hold'em event for $12,148. In 2016, he cashed twice at EPT Season XIII Prague: a 9th-place finish in a €550 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event ($1,086) and a 104th-place finish in the €5,300 Main Event ($11,875).
