Charles Keith Lehr

Charles Keith Lehr, Jr., commonly known as Keith Lehr, was born in November 1963 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Louisiana's official records list him as Charles Keith Lehr, Jr. He began playing tournament poker in the early 2000s and quickly built a name for himself on the live circuit. Those who played with him early on described a patient, disciplined competitor who preferred studying opponents and preserving chips over chasing big pots.

Lehr's first major title arrived at the 2003 World Series of Poker, when he won the $3,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em event. The victory earned him his first WSOP bracelet and established him as a mainstay of the summer series. It took another twelve years for his second bracelet, but he made it a memorable one, capturing the $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship at the 2015 WSOP for $334,430.
