Dylan Weisman

Dylan Weisman was born and raised in Sherman Oaks, California. He developed an interest in poker during his teenage years and later studied probability theory at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). The aftermath of Black Friday in 2011, which disrupted the online poker landscape in the United States, had a positive effect on Weisman's career: it forced him to focus on college and develop non-game-theory aspects of success, such as self-knowledge, emotional control, and life sustainability. During his college years, he grinded mid-to-high stakes live Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) games throughout Southern California and also taught poker in Vietnam. After graduating, he moved to Chicago to pursue a career in analytics and business intelligence, but eventually returned to poker as a full-time professional.

Weisman's first recorded live cash came in June 2016 in a $600 buy-in PLO tournament. He quickly made a name for himself online under the alias "iheartco0kie" as a high-stakes grinder. His first major live final tables came during the 2021 U.S. Poker Open, where he finished 4th in a $10,000 PLO event for $65,000 and 7th in another for $31,500. That same year, he captured his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in Event #28: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed, topping a field of 1,069 players to win $166,461. After the victory, he joked, "It’s my bar mitzvah all over again!" He narrowly missed a second bracelet at the same series, finishing 4th in the $3,000 6-Handed PLO event for $79,368.

Weisman's second WSOP bracelet came in 2024 at Event #18: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha, where he earned $294,311. He continued to perform consistently in high-stakes PLO events. In March 2022, he won a $25,000 buy-in PLO tournament during the U.S. Poker Open, collecting a career-best $416,500 at that point. At the 2024 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Montenegro, he finished runner-up in the $100,000 PLO Main Event, securing his first seven-figure score of $1,666,090. A month later, he bagged his second bracelet. In 2025, he added a third-place finish in the $75,000 Triton PLO 6-Handed event at WSOP Paradise for $809,000. At the 2026 WSOP, Weisman finished second in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $299,228, and also placed 6th in a $5,000 PLO event for $104,359.

Beyond PLO, Weisman has proven his skill in a variety of mixed games. He finished second in the $25,000 10-Game Mix at the 2024 U.S. Poker Open for $290,535, and won a $10,200 No-Limit Hold'em event at the same series for $240,300. He has also cashed in numerous WSOP high rollers, including the $50,000 PLO High Roller and $25,000 PLO/NLH Mixed events. Weisman's total live tournament earnings exceed $9,346,460, with a Global Poker Index rank of 74. He has also accumulated over $3.8 million in WSOP-specific earnings across 60 cashes, including 20 final tables.

Weisman's playing style is described as aggressive and adaptable, with a strong foundation in game theory. He has spent over 1,000 hours on proprietary solver work (MonkerSolver) and integrates modern preflop and postflop theory with intuition developed from years of high-stakes play. He is a leading PLO coach for Upswing Poker, where he has taught players across the spectrum from beginners to Poker Hall of Famers. His students include elite players such as Erik Seidel and Brian Rast. Seidel praised Weisman's communication skills, calling him "the rare combination of elite player & great teacher."
