Elio Fox

Elio Fox, a native of New York City, attended Bard College before embarking on his professional poker career. He began playing online in 2009 under the aliases "smokrokbyflock" on Full Tilt, "smokrokflock" on PokerStars, and "TURBOKING333" on Absolute Poker, quickly establishing himself as a high-stakes no-limit hold'em rebuy specialist. His first notable live result came in June 2011 when he won the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza III Event 30, a $1,590 buy-in tournament with 251 entrants, for $87,192. The following month, Fox captured the Bellagio Cup VII $10,000 Main Event, defeating a 224-player field that included Ted Forrest, William Thorson, and Brandon Cantu to earn $669,692.

Fox's first World Series of Poker cash was nothing short of spectacular: in October 2011, he won the €10,400 WSOP Europe Main Event in Cannes, France.
