Emile Abi-Daher is a professional poker player from Cyprus who has made his mark on the international tournament circuit. His most notable achievement came in August 2024 at the WPT Prime Cyprus Championship, held at the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa, where he finished 5th out of 1,202 entrants, earning $48,500.

Abi-Daher navigated a massive field to reach the final table, where he eventually busted in 5th place to eventual champion Tudor Purice. This result represents his only recorded cash on the World Poker Tour, earning him 350 WPT points.

During the final table, Abi-Daher demonstrated both cunning and aggression. In Hand #99 of the tournament, he limped from the small blind, then bet and jammed the river as a bluff, forcing Yurii Senchylo to fold. He showed the bluff, revealing 8♥7♠, to the table.

Earlier, in Hands #90-92, Abi-Daher employed a consistent limp strategy, raising preflop only when holding strong hands like pocket sixes. His willingness to limp and apply postflop pressure was a key part of his game.
