Early Life and Education
Espen Uhlen Jørstad was born in Levanger, Norway, in 1988. He holds a master's degree in brewing science from the University of Copenhagen and worked at a brewery before turning to poker professionally.
Poker Career
Jørstad began streaming on Twitch in 2016 under the alias 'uhlenpoker' as a sponsored Unibet poker pro, later rebranding to the group channel 'overbetexpress'. He plays online as 'Hymn2ninkasi' on PokerStars and 'COVFEFE-19' on online poker, primarily focusing on cash games. His first WSOP final table came in 2020 during an online event, and he finished sixth in the 2021 WSOP Online Main Event for $603,058.
2022 WSOP Main Event Victory
In 2022, Jørstad won his first WSOP bracelet in Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em alongside Patrick Leonard for $74,042 each. He then entered the Main Event through a $1,050 online poker satellite. Navigating a field of 8,663 players, he reached the final table as chip leader. In heads-up play against Adrian Attenborough, Jørstad made a full house on a board of 4♥ 2♥ 2♣ 8♠ Q♣, shoving with Q♦ 2♠ to win the championship and $10,000,000. He became the first Norwegian to win the WSOP Main Event.
