Gabe Kaplan

Gabe Kaplan is an American entertainer and professional poker player. He rose to fame in the 1970s as the star of the television series Welcome Back, Kotter and later transitioned into poker, where he has achieved notable success. As of 2023, his lifetime tournament earnings exceed $2 million, and he is ranked 1489th in the world.

Kaplan began playing poker seriously in the 2000s and has since made numerous cashes in the World Series of Poker (WSOP), including deep runs in the Main Event.
