His poker mentor is his uncle Raminder Singh, who is also a successful WSOP Circuit ring winner.

On February 17, 2020 (Presidents Day in the US), Harmeet Singh won Event #14: $250 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack event at the Seminole Hard Rock casino in Tampa, Florida, earning $17,990 and his first WSOP Circuit ring. The event drew 455 entries for a $91,000 prize pool. At the final table, he defeated players including Kenneth Frey and David Tuthill, while his poker student Siddharth Siddharth finished 5th. After the win, he said: "This is the best feeling for any poker player, and I'm very grateful."
