Jarno Laasala (born 19 September 1979 in Seinäjoki, Finland) is a Finnish filmmaker, stunt performer, and co-founder of the stunt group The Dudesons. He was the former CEO of production company Rabbit Films and has appeared in numerous television shows and movies, including The Dudesons Movie, Jackass 3D, and the Finnish series Posse. Laasala was also a champion in Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. as a child.
Poker Achievement
In January 2009, Laasala participated in the Helsinki Freezeout, then Finland's largest poker tournament, held in Helsinki. He finished fourth, winning just over €40,000. At the time, his company (the Dudesons' production firm) was facing severe financial difficulties, and the entire prize was used to pay employee salaries for that month. This win is Laasala's only publicly recorded poker tournament cash, and there is no evidence of further professional poker activity.
Personal Life
Laasala has three children with his ex-wife, Hanne Maria Savunen. In 2017, he was diagnosed with melanoma, which has since been cured.
