Jediael Pires, originally from Brazil, now resides in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. He owns a construction business and plays poker on a part-time basis, as noted during his runner-up finish at the Borgata Fall Poker Open in 2012.

Pires' most notable live result came in November 2012 at the Borgata Fall Poker Open Event 4: $500 + $60 + $200 Bounty NL (Re-Entry). He finished 2nd out of a large field, earning $19,845 along with 17 bounties worth an additional $3,400.
