Jorgen Thorkildsen

Jørgen Thorkildsen (born 1978/1979) is a Norwegian amateur poker player and real estate broker from Skien. Despite playing poker for over two decades, he remains a dedicated amateur, balancing his passion for the game with his career as managing director of Sørmegleren. His tournament results include a Norwegian Championship title in Fixed Limit and a deep run in the NM Main Event.

Thorkildsen has worked as a real estate agent since 2004, starting at Notar and later at EM1Telemark before becoming the daily manager at Sørmegleren in 2017. He first played poker in Las Vegas in 2003, where he was introduced to Fixed Limit games before transitioning to No Limit. His early poker achievements include 16th and 19th place finishes in previous Norwegian Championships.
