Juan Jose Perez is an Argentine poker player who gained attention in the Latin American poker scene during the early 2010s. His most notable achievement is leading after Day 1 of the 2011 PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) Punta del Este Main Event.

In August 2011, Perez entered the LAPT Punta del Este Main Event at the Mantra Resort in Uruguay. The tournament attracted 422 players, generating a prize pool of $941,480 with a first-place prize of $244,720. After eight levels on Day 1, Perez bagged 197,500 chips, establishing himself as the chip leader. During the final level of the day, he eliminated Team PokerStars Pro Leo Fernandez and another opponent in a dramatic hand, holding 5♥5♠ against Fernandez's A♣A♠ and Q♦Q♥, hitting a set of fives on the flop to score a double knockout. All six Team PokerStars Pros failed to survive Day 1, including defending champion Jose "Nacho" Barbero.
