Karan Sitlani

Karan Sitlani began his poker journey on India’s major online platforms, playing under screen names such as "collingwood" (PokerBaazi), "nebzo" (Adda52), and "Nebzo" (PokerStars). His online resume includes ₹5.03 Crore in lifetime winnings, 153 titles, and a current India ranking of #236. He primarily plays on PokerBaazi and Adda52, where he has accumulated the bulk of his online profits.

In July 2024, Sitlani made his first international poker trip to Cambodia for the WPT Cambodia Passport series. He entered the $800 8 Max Survivor Bounty event, which drew 439 entries and generated a $174,998 prize pool. Sitlani navigated the field and reached the final table, where he faced India’s red-hot circuit pro Amit Kaushik. Despite Kaushik’s experience, Sitlani applied ICM pressure and eventually struck a deal, earning $29,830 plus $10,500 in bounties (7 bounties collected). The victory also secured him a $1,100 seat to the WPT World Prime Championship in Las Vegas. In a post-win interview, he said, "It’s unreal. This is my first international poker trip... I was just trusting the process."

He adapts his game to exploit opponents, stating, "I play the man not the cards." His background as an online grinder gives him a solid technical foundation, but he has shown the ability to adjust to live dynamics.

Sitlani has been studying and playing poker professionally for only two years (as of 2024). Despite his rapid success, he remains humble and focused on the process. He maintains a close friendship with fellow Indian pro Amit Kaushik and regularly plays online with him. His WPT Cambodia victory was a breakout moment, proving that online players from India can compete and win on the international stage.
